Hailing Frequencies Open

From 2256 through 2257, a bloody and brutal conflict between two of the galactic powers caused severe fractures in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. With a suturing of peace barely holding it together, the Federation and Klingon Empire face the lingering of threat of the Gorn Hegemony.
Aggressive, cold blooded, and ruthless - The Gorn are what nightmares are made of. They've infested the Beta Quadrant and have clawed their way deeper into the Alpha Quadrant. With the assault on Parnassus Beta, a Federation colony in 2259, war seems inevitable.
With her Captain missing in action, command of the USS Arcadia falls upon a newly minted First Officer, Lieutenant Commander Kelly Kerrigan. Under his command the crew of the Arcadia are on a five-year mission of bridging relationships within the Federation and her broader allies, strengthening defenses, providing aid and relief to worlds hit the hardest, and protecting Federation assets at all costs. The USS Arcadia is not a ship of war; it is a ship of peace and a beacon of hope in the abyss.

Mission: Stars Around the Well
Posted on Sat Jun 28th, 2025 @ 10:00pm by Lieutenant Adrianna Baciami & Lieutenant Commander Oscar McDonald MD & Jynx
Adrianna felt very uneasy. It felt like someone or something was watching them, even on the shuttle. She stood in the doorway, her back to MacDonald and Jynx, as if keeping watch. Whilst she worried for her future husband, friends and crew, the Italian was more focused on their stowaway and keeping them, the doctor and herself alive. It felt odd to be on a StarFleet shuttle, not undercover, but still with a weapon drawn. "How is she?" Adrianna asked over her shoulder, still keeping her wyes on the metaphoric horizon, waiting for the rest of the crew to arrive.…

Mission: Stars Around the Well
Posted on Sat Jun 28th, 2025 @ 9:59pm by Lieutenant Adrianna Baciami & Lieutenant Commander Oscar McDonald MD & Lieutenant Fang Lee & Lieutenant Lanna Alexander & Jynx
ON:
Exactly on schedule, the shuttle made a gentle and near textbook landing within the vessel they had detected adrift within the debris field. During those last few moments on the approach they had continued to detect no signs of life, all while the members of the away team donned the cumbersome EV suits. Armed as a precaution, the team emerged in single file, scanning the immediate area for any sign of life - friendly or otherwise.
Doctor McDonald was second to last to emerge, wondering why now his knee had decided to itch when it was impossible to scratch…

Mission: Stars Around the Well
Posted on Tue Jun 3rd, 2025 @ 6:00pm by Lieutenant Lanna Alexander & Jynx
Head tilted to one side, Jynx watched the images flowing across the small display screen with a curious expression. Captivated by the animated adventure, by the music which interlaced dialogue she did not really understand. Embracing the escape from the clinical white medical bay which had been a temporary home since the day before.
Catching movement from the corner of her eye she touched the display, pausing the movie as she removed the ear buds which had allowed her to listen without disturbing the staff. Her brown eyes turned blue then pink as she watched the stranger make her way…

Mission: Stars Around the Well
Posted on Wed Apr 16th, 2025 @ 8:26pm by Lieutenant Commander Oscar McDonald MD & Lieutenant Lanna Alexander
Patience had never been an attribute often associated with Doctor Oscar McDonald. Tonight was no different. With a sigh of frustration he leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes against the raging headache and pinched the bridge of his nose. Hours combing through records, reaching out to contacts at Starfleet medical and contacts elsewhere... nothing had helped him with his private mission.
Namely trying to piece together exactly what had happened to 'Jynx' before - and after - she was rescued by Baciami a few years prior. A rescue she appeared to have no recollection of. According to the…

Mission: Stars Around the Well
Posted on Fri Apr 11th, 2025 @ 3:40pm by Lieutenant Fang Lee & Lieutenant Commander Oscar McDonald MD & Lieutenant Adrianna Baciami & Lieutenant Lanna Alexander
ON:
Fang was the first to arrive at the shuttle bay. He checked the shuttle to make sure all was well and stocked what was needed. Vance arrived second followed by Walker. The men worked side by side to load the shuttle, check the weapons and hazard suits. They waited for the rest of the group. All through it Fang couldn't help but feel like they were going to have a difficult away mission ahead of them.
Adrianna soon arrived with a take out mug of coffee. She'd managed to raid the coffee shop for some real stuff. She was…

The sterile smell of disinfectant stung Adrianna’s nose as her eyelids fluttered open. Her vision blurred at first with a slight vignette, but gradually, the harsh white of the hospital room came into focus. A dull, aching throb radiated through her body, and she tried to move, only for a sharp pain in her ribs to stop her short.
Quickly looking up from a silent prayer, Tanina gasped, finally seeing Adrianna awake. "Amore mio, stay still," came her mother’s voice, soft yet trembling. Tanina sat by her bedside, her face pale, her eyes rimmed with red as though she hadn’t…

Adrianna Baciami stepped off the shuttle and into the heart of Freecloud’s chaos. Neon lights flickered against the perpetual twilight, holographic advertisements competing for attention amid the throng of smugglers, traders, and information brokers. It was a world far removed from Starfleet’s order and ideals– exactly the kind of place she needed to be.
She adjusted her jacket, a plain but expensive-looking piece that suited her cover as Adrianna Reggimi, a skilled translator and negotiator for hire. Rumours had already been started in anticipation for her arrival to help her. This mission was her first real test since graduating from…

Adrianna had always known Constantine’s charm could get him into trouble, but this time, it had gone too far. During their time as cadets at Starfleet Academy, Constantine had been running an illegal poker game with a group of other cadets. It was harmless enough at first, but when he decided to cheat to win, things turned dangerous. Adrianna wasn’t part of the said game, but she found herself caught in the aftermath when she stumbled upon Constantine outside one of the maintenance bays, surrounded by three furious cadets. Their shouts echoed off the bulkheads, each accusation sharpening her focus…

***A While Ago***
Adrianna’s suicide mission had worked. Getting a warlord killed had turned the tide of the conflict, and Starfleet, recognising her sacrifice, was already arranging a new position for her once she recovered. She would serve as a communications officer– perhaps even head of department– on a starship to be assigned after her convalescence. For now, she was left to heal, both from the physical wounds that had nearly claimed her life and the deeper scars that losing Vance had carved into her soul.
Adrianna’s first Christmas without Vance was spent in his small cabin in Alaska. The…

The testing chamber was a sterile, unyielding space of polished steel and harsh lights. Adrianna Baciami stood at its centre, her posture straight, her expression calm. Above her, in the observation room, the air bristled with tension. Commander Thal’var stood rigidly by the control panel, his antennae twitching with anticipation. Beside him, Lieutenant Commander Maren Whitlock, Assistant Head of Starfleet Intelligence, regarded him with sharp, sceptical eyes.
“This one won’t break,” Thal’var said quietly, more to himself than to her.
Whitlock’s lips curled in a faint, humourless smile. “You said the same about Jal Arven,” she replied, her voice edged…
