| Personal History | Lanna was born on Betazed, a direct descendant of the current Matriarchal line she has always had the best of everything, although she hasn’t let it go to her head. Her mother is one of a handful of Ambassadors for Betazed. Growing up amongst a society of Telepaths and Empaths, Lanna learned at an early age how to control her abilities, it was a necessity due to the early onset of what should have been teenage abilities. Accompanying her mother off world on several occasions, Lanna became enthralled with being out amongst the stars, and when she learned of Starfleet her fascination of joining became something she longed for. At the age of 16 Lanna began studying at Betazed University for her Psychology degree, then upon graduation she applied for, and was accepted at Starfleet Academy, sponsored by a contact of her mother’s. She spent the next four years on the Psychology and medical track, alongside the expected Academy studies. She graduated one of the top students in her field. Upon graduation from the Academy she moved onto her Clinical psychology residency. It was whilst aboard the Standing Bear that Lanna met and fell in love with Jarin Alexander, the two have a son called Jayce and recently took advantage of the time they had to finally get married. |
