General Overview		Like so many pilots, Hunt has become somewhat arrogant early in his career when it comes to his abilities. But over the years, he has matured and has calmed down.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Malcom has a mentality just for pushing through any and everything standing in way. His weakness is the ability to figure out in a timely fashion when to simply move on.

Personal History		Growing up on Earth, Malcom has always felt that he has had to live up to the expectations of his father. Considered a Starfleet brat like so many other kids whose parents served in Starfleet, Hunt often times was left with his mother as his father was off traveling throughout the galaxy. Malcom knew that a life of Starfleet was for him long before even starting grade school. At an early age, he displayed an interest in helm as he learned where all the major controls were. After graduating highschool, Malcom was accepted into Starfleet Academy where he exceled in the helm/navigation field. At the Academy Hunt excelled in his studies impressing many of his instructors. After graduating he found himself posted at Starbase 4. It wasn't really his idea of a good first assignment, shuttling equipment and supplies back and forth. But during the time, Ensign Hunt took the opportunity to upgrade his own worth by taking several combat piloting classes. Three years later he would be transferred to the USS Meuse with a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade. During his first starship assignment, Malcom would be responsible for working in the Navigation department. It would be on the Lethe class ship where Hunt's skills at helm would impress his superiors. During a mission in 2254, Malcom would pilot a shuttle down to the surface during a combat situation. Due to his skills the rescue of over 25 personnel was possible and was awarded a Citation for Valor along with those present on the mission. In 2256, Hunt would be transferred to the USS Chaffee as the new Chief Helm Officer. With a promotion to Lieutenant, Malcom found that this assignment placed him directly in the frontlines of the Federation-Klingon War of 2256. During the war not only did he pilot the ship but found himself piloting a shuttle through many combat situations. Thus allowing him to use his combat piloting skills delivering and recovering many personnel from the surface of combat zones. This led to him to receiving the Order of Merit in 2256. After the last assignment the ship was so damage that Starfleet decided to reassign the crew, while salvaging the ship for parts. When a position came open for a Chief Helm Officer in 2259 on the USS Arcadia, Malcom was selected for the spot.
