Mission:
Stars Around the Well
Location: Risa
Timeline: ---Past---
ON:
The bar on Risa was known as Luna’s Haven, a hidden paradise tucked along the edge of a glowing lagoon. Its allure lay in the seamless blend of nature and artifice, where towering palms and tropical blossoms framed an open-air terrace lit by gentle, hanging lanterns. By dusk, the water in the lagoon took on a soft, otherworldly luminescence, and the entire place seemed to come alive, bathed in an inviting warmth that whispered of romance.
Each table lay on a stone terrace, perfectly spaced for privacy, with seating low and luxuriously cushioned. The tables themselves, carved with ancient Risan symbols for love and unity, seemed to be crafted with secret lovers in mind. Silk drapes, hung loosely overhead, swayed like stardust caught in a soft breeze. Above, a holographic night sky shimmered, dotted with foreign constellations that danced and changed in harmony with the evening’s flow.
The servers drifted between tables dressed in Risan robes, moving with a quiet elegance as they offered delicacies and drinks in crystalline glasses. The cocktails were a feast of color, fragrant with subtle Risan spices, and garnished with delicate flowers that glowed faintly in the dim light. A trio of musicians sat near the water’s edge, playing music that seemed almost ethereal, like a half-remembered dream. Wind chimes added to the melody whenever a warm breeze rustled through, as though even the air itself was in tune with the night.
And as dessert arrived—rich chocolates infused with strange, intoxicating aromas, and fruits drizzled in sweet sauces—it was easy to forget that anything existed outside of this place. Adrianna looked over at Vance. She knew that they had been there to scope out a client, but they'd made it into a bit of a date too. "I must admit, amore mio-- I didn't think you would pick somewhere so romantic for merely scoping a client. I won't complain though-- it's nice to see you in a suit. You look rather handsome," she finally switched topic to just them, having had the rest of the evening focused on work and their potential client.
"And you clean up pretty nice too Adrianna. That dress looks amazing." He grinned. "I'm thinking I should re-schedule the client."
"Reschedule? Why? We've already stalked him all evening," she chuckled, subtly looking back out to the man. She reached out and put her hand under Vance's, "work or not, it's about time that you took your future wife on a date."
He grinned. "I totally agree that's why I'm wearing my favourite shirt."
"I'm wearing my lucky dress," she grinned, "I met you in it." Her eyes looked at his shirt, she could understand why it was his favourite, it did wonders for him, "what would you do if your favourite shirt went missing?"
"Yes well...that is never going to happen. It's heavily guarded."
"Stronzate," she smirked, "I bet I could find it and steal it all before we leave Risa."
"Pffft. In your dreams. Not even you are that good."
She sat back in her seat, silently accepting the challenge, "and if I did manage it? Hm? What then?"
"If you manage to find it and steal it I will...pay for you to enjoy the spa while we're here on Risa and...you can keep the shirt as much as it pains me."
She nodded and held out her hand, "I promise that I will keep it safe, amore mio."
He snorted. "If you can get it."

The previous night the business had been great, he'd had his date with Adrianna, he'd prepped his crew and then gotten home tired. This morning he'd done something he rarely did, go to the healing waters. He needed a break. Once he got back he headed to the bed to change into his PJs but there, when he pulled back the covers, was a lipstick mark on his pillow.
He groaned. "Please tell me she didn't" He hurried to the place he'd hidden his shirt and sure enough it was empty.
He groaned. "Fine! Retaliation it is." Vance headed out not feeling the least bit sleepy. He sighed. She stole his favorite shirt and he would take her favorite dress. She was shopping tonight so it was the perfect opportunity.

It had not taken Adrianna long. She'd been watching Vance for months for intel purposes. The fact that she used It against him, even though she'd fallen in love and was tempted to quit Starfleet to continue this life with him, was pure amusement at this point. She had stayed away from Vance since successfully managing the heist and was now wearing his shirt as a cover up for her bikini. She had rolled the sleeves up and was currently lounging in the sun reading some fantasy novel on a PaDD.
Vance smiled as he strolled into the pool area. He stopped and watched her across the pool, waiting for her to turn her attention his way. He put down the bag he was carrying.
Adrianna could feel eyes on her and looked up. She saw Vance and grinned. Standing up, she did a little spin for him, his shirt was a definite dress on her, although barely covered her. Lying back down she blew him a kiss and beckoned him over, there was absolute pride in her expression, "how does it feel to know that your shirt looks better on me than you, or that you underestimated me again, amore mio?"
He grinned back. He reached down into his bag and pulled out her favourite dress. "Don't know. You tell me?"
"Not sure if crimson is your colour, amore mio," she smirked, "nor are you wearing it. But, you see, I didn't underestimate you." She sat up and reached into the pocket of the dress hand handed him a small piece of paper that simply said: You are very predictable, Amore mio x. Adrianna looked up to his eyes, "it is only my favourite dress because it is the dress I met you in. I have no attachment otherwise."
She smirked and stood up, stepping very close to him, "I think I'll enjoy having some stranger put their hands all over my body because you underestimated me. Also, I think I'll enjoy using this shirt as pyjamas. You can have it back-- when you put your money where your mouth is an actually marry me."
He laughed. "Deal." He grinned. "Marry you I will as soon as I get back from the Klingon System."
"You said the same thing for Betazed and for when we did that drop with the Romulans," she put her hands softly on his chest, lowering her voice and looking like she was flirting with him, but knowing that he'd given up on trying to kiss her a week or.so before, "keep a girl waiting and she will find someone else. The masseuse looks hot. Think he'd like to show me around Risa-- maybe he'll rip this shirt off of me though and -- merde-- I did promise that I'd keep your shirt safe." A smirk crossed her lips and she suddenly pulled away, laying back down on the lounger, knocking the sunglasses from her head down to cover her eyes, "go and arrange that spa for me, Capitan. You lost."
He groaned. "Fine!" He walked away in a huff but with a smile. A deal was a deal. It would cost but what she didn't know was he would give her the sun, he moon and the stars.
