Accompanying them on their mission is a Federation reporter that has been covering the story of cargo vessels going missing in a nearby region. While investigating the mysterious disappearance of a Federation convoy, the USS Arcadia discovers a strange anomaly that has undoubtedly been the culprit. When searching for answers, the Arcadia makes an unsettling break through: a distress signal is transmitting within the anomaly. Boldly venturing deeper inside, the Arcadia may find itself trapped and added to the list of missing starships.
